I was asked to build out a website landing page for a client. I was given strict brand guidelines, and specific branding images and collateral to use. The client needed a basic site that could showcase their service structure and leadership. I used a website builder to layout the design elements, along with linking to essential business elements (e.g. Google Plus) to create a sleek, and functional, landing page. Having laid out some websites this way, including my own, it is like putting a puzzle together and feels like an extension of other forms of artwork and design. Taking a clients branding guide and transforming it into a whole other element that must be both beautiful and functional is a fun and creative outlet.
