My second love. First, will always be drawing. But I find that painting has helped me with, not only my creativity, but other more practical things; like color usage and color mixing. The thing I love about painting over all the others though, is how an artist can swing between being tightly controlled in wanting to paint a clean edge, to applying paint wildly in fits of enthusiasm.
